Description
The 40 acres are abundant with game and native plants with spectacular vistas, rock outcroppings, secluded oak woodlands, and open grassy fields. In winter & spring, the land flows w/ creeks & waterfalls as well as a seasonal pond. Property owners also have access to two large shared-use community ponds a couple miles down the road. These ponds are spring-fed and provide year-round refuge for beavers, bass, and waterfowl, as well as a cooling reprieve for humans during summer! The property itself has several structures: a redwood barn, chicken coop, and a 200-square-foot one-room cabin with a rustic stone fireplace and hardwood floor. One well is 80 feet and outfitted with a solar panel (but pump needs to be installed). This well has a slow recharge rate and is thus best suited to wind or solar, so that water can trickle-feed into a tank in order to provide a consistent supply with a 1600-gallon metal water tank. Second well is 120 feet deep with a hand-pump.
